Blue Planet Marine are a key Crown-of-thorns starfish (COTS) Control on-water operator, undertaking critical management of COTS in the GBR on behalf of the GBRMPA COTS program.
BPM representatives recently participated in a successful COTS Control Innovation Program workshop in Townsville, which brought together scientists, reef managers, COTS control crews and Traditional Owners to share their research progress, strengthen critical synergies and plan for management integration. We look forward to seeing the translation of these world-leading innovative tools from research to implementing them in the field!
